World Student Day: Friday 19 October 2012

48 hours in one day

The International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) is a global community of indigenous student movements, called to engage the university with the good news of Jesus Christ.

World Student Day is an annual event that brings the Fellowship together to celebrate the work of God in the lives of students, and to pray for one another and for specific situations facing students around the world.

World Student Day will take place on Friday 19 October 2012.

how to get involved

World Student Day provides an exciting opportunity to display the unity of our fellowship as we gather together to pray. There are a number of resources that you may wish to print and download to use in your own prayer meeting, as well as a number of ways in which you can get involved, online, during the 48 hours of prayer.

  • You can download our creative ideas sheet for students and churches. Do remember to let us know your own creative ideas for celebrating this special day, too.
  • Download and share our World Student Day resource video, packed with prayer requests from students and staff around the IFES world.
  • Follow us on twitter and facebook to post updates, prayer requests and more. Remember to include the #ifeswsd hashtag in your tweets.
